Jurnal Kata : Penelitian tentang Ilmu Bahasa dan Sastra Vol 4, No 2 (2020): Jurnal Kata : Penelitian tentang Ilmu Bahasa dan Sastra Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Wilayah X These types of sentences are learned by students to be able to master language skills, especially writing skills. These various types of sentences relate to learning Indonesian for students in school. The results of this study indicate that the types of sentences in the Dilan novel by Pidi Baiq are direct sentences, indirect sentences, single and compound sentences, exclamation sentences, command sentences, question sentences, news sentences, complete sentences, incomplete sentences, sentences versions, inversion sentences, release sentences, climax sentences, active and passive sentences, and passive zeroes.
Then, data is analyzed by content analysis method of Miles and Huberman flow model. zThe data was collected by documentation technique and validated by triangulation theory and source technique. Data from this research ar sentences sourced from the novel Dilan by Pidi Baiq published in 2015. This study aims to describe the types of sentences contained in the novel Dilan by Pidi Baiq and to relate to learning Indonesian in elementary schools.
